Glitz and glitter..but the bikes just aren't that well made. I'd like to see them do a "Where are they now show?". The show bikes are probably parked off in a corner somewhere and are ok...but I'd like to see one, or any, that have had to withstand daily running.
Go on e-bay and check out the price difference between OCC stuff and West Coast. Either people are willing to pay more for WCC..or , here's a thought, they're worth more.
Truth being..there are hundreds, if not thousand of one off bike makers out there..some make bikes better than the both put together. Jesse and Co. and Paul Sr. and company had that combination of fairly decent bikes and high marketabilty that made them TV worthy. Face it..you wouldn't watch Arlen Ness and his team at work..no fighting...no yelling...no Mikey to rag on....boring.
How to emboss or stamp leather?
I just bought my son a leather bikers wallet complete with chain. My son wants some sort of design embossed on the front of the wallet. I was curious as to how I could do this. I don't want a painted emboss, with embossing power and what not.
I want to make an impression in the leather, so that you feel the emboss. He wants a kind of west coast chopper cross.
How would I go about this. Is it as simple as having a cookie cutter and slamming it with a rubber mallet? Or do I need a heating tool such as a wood burning tool.
Any tips would be helpful or if you have links which would assist me.

The leather has been finished so I don't think you can without ruining it.
