Harley Davidson / buell.?
How does the sportster 1200 custom handle? I've been on buells before but I want a Harley. Is it hard going from one style to another? I think foward controls would take some getting use to.
Buells are pretty awful sportbikes except for their new one with the nonHarley engine.
The harley was my dream bike. I oogled them from age 9 or 10. Could never afford one and went through 3 or 4 bikes. Finally had the bucks and took one for a test ride.
What a POS. The worst biked I've ever thrown a leg over.
A real disappointment. Vibrated like a jackhammer. The engine and gearbox were very noisy. Not a tight bike at all.
Underpowered but geared way low (the 1200 has an embarrising 50hp), heavy, not an agile motorcycle. It was just primitive compared to other bikes. Even my old Triumph was beyond the harley.
It really is what it is. A reproduction of a bike designed 70 years ago. Engeneering has moved on, a windey up victrola is now an Ipod, they didn't even have TV when harleys got their engeneering. This bike only serves posers who don't care about performance at all.
Forward controls....what a retarded way to ride.
