I want to race motocross, need advice on what bike to buy?
Im about 5'10 and about 185-190 pounds, need help on what to buy (brand, 2 or 4 stroke, what size).
How old are you and what experience have you had on a bike and racing.
If you are in the age group suitable for a 250f then that is the better option for someone just starting out. 2 strokes are on their way out of racing and you are really a bit on the large size for one anyway.
Any of the known brand bikes would be just fine for someone starting out and there is no bad choice. Just buy as new as you can.
Buying a bike in california originaly from Canada?
Ok so i decided i want to get a 250 2 stroke.I found a 2002 Honda Cr 250.The guy baught the bike in canada and said he couldnt get it registered in California. So he baught a crf 50 and took the green sticker off the 50 and put it on to the 250 so he could get into the parks. Now if i baught the bikes both 50 and 250.Would i have any problem racing motocross or ama hare scrambles with this 250?Thnks a lot
Is there a green sticker requirement to race MX in California? I would think you're fine on a closed course but I would not try to pass that bike off as a green sticker illegally in a national forest or somewhere similar, not worth the risk.
