how to make my 2 stroke dirt bike sound real smooth and beautiful?
I have a Yamaha yz125 2 stroke and i want to make it sound real smooth with that vibrating poppy sound in the pipe. Should I remove the whole pipe or put on a special one. I want to make it sound just like the dirtbike that John Connor was riding in the movie Terminator 2.
Yeah that's a real good reason for messing with the exhaust system, I want it to sound like. A Yz125 is a racing bike and most likely the sound you heard in the movie is doctored for sound effects to sound better in a theater, therefor you will never duplicate the sound. Now either leave it alone or sell it and buy a bicycle.

im 13, 5'7 ,and weigh 115 , i rode my friends honda crf150 and i want a different bike then that , im looking at a lot of nice 125 2 stroke bikes , is it bad to get one of those , it seems that all the other 4 strokes are slow, and i dont want a crf or a ttr . any suggestions ? help please

A crf150 is too small for you anyway being 5'7. Above 5'5 it isn't reccomended. I ride a crf150rb but I am also only 5'3....
back to you, a 2-stroke is actually the worst option to start on? Why? Because of the constant need to remain on the throttle and in the powerband. They are not the best beginner bikes, especialy not since 4-strokes are now available in all different sizes...well...minus the smaller bikes...but you don't need to worry about that. You are a light guy...but plenty tall enough to handle a full size 4-stroke. You could handle a bike such as the yz250f with a lot of practice and patience. ( I suggested this because you said no ttr's or crf's...I don't know if you meant Hondas in general, or what...) Any 4-stroke 250cc bike would work well for you though. I'm taking it because you said 2-strokes you are looking into motocross bikes and not trail bikes? I'm not to sure...but either way check into a 250cc bike...trust me...they defintely are not "slow."
