What size dirt bike is right for us two to share?
Hello all! I am the father of a 16yr old boy. He is 5'11" and 230lbs. I am 5'7" and 185lbs.
I want to get a bike that is compatable for both of us to ride. I have ridden street bikes thru-out my life, but never a dirt bike. And of course he has never ridden at all.
Please give me advice on the size of a bike that we can share which will work for both of us until I can afford another one. thanks for your answers!
My opinion, you can go as low as a 125cc but I don't know what kind of power your looking for, probably not a whole lot if your son has never ridden before. Are you looking to buy a new one or an older one? The newer ones they have came out with have a lot more power then an older one but also you need to take in mind that even the 125cc is going to be a tall bike. I am 6'1" and my 125cc is almost as tall as my 250cc and I barley touch flat footed on the 125cc mine are both set up for racing tho.
