how do I lower my 2008 harley ultra glide classic more than 2''?

Use Moco's parts you'll find that it's a stiffer ride. You'll be OK with a 500lb load, more than that you might bottom out. It will ride kinda like a street glide. Your back may ache after a long distance ride. Try a Corbin seat first, they sit lower than stock & may save you some work, time & money. 2 inch is alot of height to lose on suspension, you may get 1 1/2" at best without a different seat.

Goldwing Navi/ABS vs Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide, which would you buy, and why?

just came back from my first bike tour down the coast, and had an AMAZING time. I am seriously considering trading in my suzuki gsz-r for a touring bike. I am currently looking at Harley Electra Glide, and Goldwing. Goldwing is loaded up and seems to be the ultimate luxury in touring bikes, but there is still a part of me that is drawn towards the Harley for the style, and brand. I will see if I can test drive, but thought I'd post question and see what folks think. any pointers are appreciated.
